So, what you’re saying is it’s all downhill for Mystery Inc.?
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004) dir. Raja Gosnell
Red marker handwriting on a bathroom wall. Text reads:
“Boss made a dollar
Granddad made a dime
But that was a poem
From a simpler time.
Boss made a thousand
Gave pa a cent
But that penny paid the mortgage
Or at least it paid the rent
Now Boss makes a million
And gives us jack
Smugly blames the workers
For the labor that he lacks.”
And the words of the prophets are written on the subway walls and tenement halls.
Maybe she does. Are you going to check?
And anyway, I’m sure the teeth have more harvestable life magic when they’re freshly fallen from the face of a child.
Or they taste better. Depending on what we think she’s doing with them in the first place.
I agree with everyone else in the notes that it’s about the willing exchange of teeth, but because of the “are you going to check?” I’m now thinking about the tooth fairy accidentally making it so much harder to solve murders
“Check the dental records on the body we found to find our John Doe” “I can’t, the teeth…they’re all gone” “That sick bastard.”
Meanwhile the killer had nothing to do with the missing teeth, it was just the tooth fairy, seeing easy access to some teeth
#maybe one of the detectives is even secretly the murderer #and they’re just like ‘who tf stole these teeth from the person I killed??’
Anybody writing an urban fantasy in need of ideas? Because that would make a nice twist on the investigation.
